Jamroom Acclaim Module
The module calculates Artist and Member popularity, or their 'Acclaim' by calculating a value between 0 and 100 based on a number of parameters. All parameters are individually 'weighted' by admin so that the results can be tailored to the site's objectives. Overall Member and Artist results can also be scaled. The result and position for each Artist/Member is stored in custom fields in the band_info table so that it can be included as part of a normal ranking call. Daily results for all Artist and Members are archived in another custom database table and module ranking is included so as to show this table, or parts of it, on your site. As well as normal Jamroom ranking calls, this module accepts 'date' (YYYYMMDD or Unixtime) and 'belting'. Configuration tools are included to allow site admins to optimise the weightings and scaling.
Visit the Support and Demo Site for more information.
Jamroom Support Tickets Module
When installed on your Jamroom site, this module adds a user support ticketing system. From their Control Panel, users can submit, view and respond to tickets request help, reporting problems etc. Admin has access to a 'Support Ticket Manager' from which all submitted tickets can be viewed, responded to, have their status modified, and deleted. The module is fully configurable and supports 'multiple admins' with seperate email addresses so as to direct tickets to different departments. Visit the Support Tickets Support Site for full details and a screenshot, then login to try the module out.
Jamroom GigMemories Submit Module (Free)
When installed on your Jamroom site, this module will allow your users to easily submit their events to the GigMemories archive. All web pages of gigs submitted by your users have a link back to your Jamroom site as the 'Gig Donar'. All GigMemories ranking table rows and pages for submitted gigs have a link back to your Jamroom site as the 'Gig Donar'. Visit the GigMemories Submit Gig Support Site.
Jamroom Get Myspace Gigs Module (Free)
When installed on your Jamroom site, this module will allow your users to import gigs on their Myspace site to their Jamroom profile. Users enter their 'friendly' Myspace name, and any gigs found there are displayed in a select form. Users select the gigs they want to import, the this module parses the Myspace gig text strings and enters the gig date and venue into the Jamroom calendar table. Users can then edit these imported gigs as normal to include extra information and an image. Visit the Get Myspace Gigs Support and Demo site.
Jamroom GigMemories Module (Free)
This module adds a {jr_ranking .....} option that you may use in your Jamroom skins and theme templates. It interfaces with www.gigmemories.com and returns information from the 100,000+ gigs (past, present and future) archived there. You use it in the same way that you use {jr_ranking .....} calls except that instead of querying your local Jamroom database, the module passes the jr_ranking parameters to the GigMemories website which then does the query on its own database and returns the results to your Jamroom. Visit Motagator for a working, practical demo of this module.
Jamroom Recurring Event Module
The paRecurringEvents module allows your artists and bands to easily create regular events with a single click - a lot quicker than repeatedly entering the same data for every date of their residency or regular DJ slot. All event information including image, vault and ticket details is copied and only the event date is changed, according to a 'rule' selected on the master/parent event (daily, weekly, monthly, first Saturday of the month, last Friday of the month etc.). Child events can optionally be synchronised with their parent event should the parent event be modified for any reason. All events can still be modified or deleted individually. Visit the Recurring Events Support and Demo site.
Jamroom Share Module
paJRShare is a Jamroom Module that can be installed on Jamroom systems version 4 and above. It provides a means for different Jamroom installations to share their database information (artists, members, songs, videos, etc.) with other Jamroom sites by using the Jamroom ranking call ({jr_ranking...}) in a site's skin and theme templates, just as one would to call your own, local, database information. After installing this module on a Jamroom site, it is configured with 'Servers' and 'Clients'. Servers are Jamroom sites that want to share their data and have their Server URL, System Name (optional), Share Key and a 'share ID' configured. The 'Server' site is similarly configured to allow specific Clients to access it. Clients are configured with their System Name (optional), their Share Key and 'Share ID'. Share Keys and Share IDs on paired Servers and Clients must match to allow and verify communication (Share Key is a 'back end' verification whilst Share ID is part of the ranking call). Visit the Jamroom Share Support and Demo site.

Choosing the right platform - why Jamroom? There are many options out there for creating your own social media based website - with the explosion in popularity of sites like YouTube and Facebook, there are dozens of systems available. Jamroom is different then most other systems - Jamroom is template driven. In other words, the template defines how the site looks as well as functions - most other systems "hard code" the feature set, and then you can really only change the look and feel. With Jamroom you can literally change and integrate anything in Jamroom, since it is the platform the templates (skins and themes) build upon. Jamroom is cohesive - Jamroom integrates well with other applications, is very configurable and requires minimal additional requirements above and beyond what is available from most hosting providers.
